Hello friends, I am back with my post !!! Recently 2 days back I visited one of the piligrimatic centers in our state, Tirupathi !!
This was the first time in my life visiting Tirupathi in single. I fixed this 2-day tour all of a sudden, since I didn’t even dream of it. Last Friday night, I took a bus at 9 p.m. Unlike RTC, Kaleswari travels, which said the reaching time was 4 a.m, kept their words. I reached tirupathi at 4.15 (due to change over of passengers whose destination was blore at renigunta, otherwise it could hav reached at exactly mentioned time ;) ). On Saturday, till afternoon I was busy with my personal work. Unfortunately, I met some of my college mates, whom I never talked with during college days, since we don’t have much acquisition. They r Roshan, Rajesh, Sai Kiran, Vinay Kumar etc.
I made sure I will not be going to miss the ever-waiting final fight between INDIA n SL. But as I was ready, to my unlucky there was a power cut and the receptionist said the power will not come until 5 p.m. I along with friends n some of my colleagues spent time hardly until the power came, though we were updated about scores through mobile internet. It was the time where India was dying to take a wicket after Dilshan departed. We started from there n only left our seats for dinner until dhoni n gambhir assured India victory... After dinner we continued the match till the end. We celebrated a lot, but there's nothing much than that of in Vijayawada.
On Sunday, I woke up early at 4.00, got ready, vacated the room, said good-bye to my frnds and left to bus-stand to catch the first bus to Kanipakam, which was at 5.30. At 7.30 I reached there when the palabhishekam was going on, due to which the darshan was stopped for 30 mins. There was no rush though it was a Sunday. It hardly took 15 mins for me to take darshan. Then after having breakfast, I started return journey to Tirupathi, where I reached at 11.30 a.m. Coincidentally, I met my frnds again. We all set to the hill (Tirumala) at 12.30 p.m after having Tiffin, since they woke up late. We reached the top of the hill within 30 mins, though the min time to reach is 45 mins (I read it on a caution board there: D: D).
Two of my frnds, Roshan and Sai Kiran went to tonsure while we waited for them. At the Information counter, we were told that Free Darshan will take 10 hours, while Rs 300/- ticket will take 3 hrs. My frnds were in dilemma whether to go for free darshan or ticket, I clearly told them my idea of going to 300 ticket n departed since I have no time left, as I fixed my plans even before I met them. Due to Ugadi festival on the next day, the staff was very busy in decorating the temple with huge garlands and different flowers which were imported from Banglore (I saw the name and address on the boxes). U can’t express in words, one must feel that experience.
Due to heavy rush, they did not allow people into the antharalayam. We had to take darshan from outside only (Laghu Darshanam). I had it for 2 mins, though the volunteers were pulling n pushing us. I felt very happy n blessed.But felt little bit unsatisfied because of not allowing into the antharalayam. As the man in Inf counter said previously, it took me about 3 hrs to have the darshan. As I went inside at 3.00 p.m, I came out at around 6 p.m. They gave only 2 Laddus for Rs 300/- tkt, I expected 4. There is another seperate line for extra laddus, as the price for 4 laddus is Rs 100/- and Rs 50/- for 2. But the queue frightened me. People were waited like as if they were buying a ticket to a Hit Movie. I gave up the idea of buying extra laddus and returned to the luggage counter, collected my bag n phone and took a bus to get down the hill at 7.30 p.m.
Within 8 p.m, I reached the bus stand. To my luck, 2 buses to Vijayawada were about to start, a gap of 30 mins between two. I opted for 2nd bus, since I was very much hungry. I had my dinner at Lakshmi Narayana Bhavan which is exactly opposite to the bus stand. By the time I reached bus stand, as expected, 1st bus departed. I got into the 2nd bus. The bus started at 9 p.m and I reached Vijayawada at 6 a.m. Luckily, by God’s grace, nothing went wrong.
